Jay Newton was born and raised in the city of Niagara Falls, Ontario.  After completing a Bachelors of Arts from McMaster University in 1996, Jay has worked as an English teacher in South Korea and as an Account Executive for a Project Management Company in Burlington.  Within this year Jay will complete his Marketing Diploma from Mohawk College and start his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) course through Advocis, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada.

Since becoming a Licensed Life Insurance Agent and Investment Funds Advisor in 2007, Jay has joined his father Rich at Newton Financial.  Rich has over 40 years experience in the business and acts as a great mentor to his son.  Together they plan to help protect and properly invest for the people of the Niagara Region and Southern Ontario.

Jay is involved in different sports clubs and charities throughout the region and is currently residing in Niagara Falls.
